The only way to convey my love and gratitude towards life is by writing a letter to my life.

I am writing a letter to life for the #DearZindagi activity at BlogAdda
Note: I am just writing this blog post for conveying my love and gratitude towards life.

Dear Zindagi,

Every individual on this planet has got a life and it depends on how we live it. In my opinion life is nothing but a moment and you just have to live it, love it and enjoy it. A life cannot be complete without the collection of happy and unhappy moments. I remember the first ten years of my life and at most of the times, I used to get unhappy. But I thank to my parents and my family members as they used to try their best to make me happy during this decade of my early life. They used to teach me several things and one of the things that I still remember learning was playing cricket. Well my parent's always allowed me to play cricket but I used to be very unhappy on the field as I was unable to play properly. I used to return home with disappointment and the next thing was that my parents used to scold my elder brother for not letting me play. Today when I look back, I find this moment very funny and this moment brings a smile on my brother's face as he was being scolded for no reason during his childhood.

In the next ten years of life, I found my first love. Yes my first love ;-) and it was none other than the game called cricket. Even if I was unable to play it properly, I used to play this game each day after my school hours. This outdoor game gave me a sense of how to tackle the situation even when you lose the match or you don't perform to your level best. Today, I am a busy working chap but whenever I find free time I try my best to play cricket rather than just watching it. The second thing that I discovered in my second decade of life was that there is something called discipline that has to be followed in life by each and every individual. Here I would like to thank my school teachers because those were the only ones who used to take care of imbibing ethical principles and monitor us if we follow them or not. I still remember that there used to be a special session of half an hour where one of my teacher used to tell the stories that taught us what is right and what is wrong. One moment that I would like to be grateful and thankful to my school teachers was the annual cultural event of the school. Well, I never was excited with the cultural activity called as dancing but I did perform it in the last year of my school days. Again, #DearZindagi (Life) is nothing but to dance with whatever music has gets played in the background or during that specific moment. It matters only if you don't dance with the tune and stay unmoved.  

 The next decade of life was too much of stress as the college days demanded too much of study. But due to the first two decades it was not that stressful since I used to come across my school friends and whenever we used to meet and even now if we meet we have loads of fun by recalling silly moments that we lived during the school days. Of this third decade the latter half of the part seems quite boring since all of my friends could not meet often since every chap that studied with me is now busy making money. These days, I try my best to devote the free time to perform the activities that I did not do during my first 3 decades of life.  But thanks to the various festivals in our Indian culture since these are the only festival holidays when we recall or meet our friends and have fun with the happy as well as unhappy moments of the life. I really want to thank my #DearZindagi as this is a moment (according to me) where we have to try our best to recall, collect and create the best ones in the life that we live ahead.

The simple steps that I follow for staying active.

Now a days we all have become so lazy and if we choose to find out the reasons behind our laziness, then we would surely have a plenty of them. According to me, the gadgets are the ones that have made us all very lazy and it ultimately affects our health. For instance, we kick start our geared gadget termed as a bike or a car to go for gym. So even if we are doing some activity in gym, driving these gadgets is not a right thing to follow. I see many youth following this method and it really is a matter of concern since we need to put forward our #ChhoteKadam not only from the environmental perspective but also from our heart's health perspective as well. 

On the occasion of World Heart day, which is observed on 29 September of every year for raising awareness about the cardiovascular disease (CVD), I want to share the #ChhoteKadam that I follow every day. The very first thing that I follow during the start of the day is to get up early in the morning. Well at first I used to get up early in the morning :-) by 8 am. But now I am used to get up a little bit more early i.e. by 7 am and at times I wake up even before the alarm rings; which is always set at 6.30 am. So it is just one day that you have to push yourself to wake up early. Once you do it, the next day you will automatically wake up on the pre-set alarm timing. 

The next thing I do is to do a gym workout which includes 120 dips. Yes not in one go but I do it in 4 sets of 30 with the combination of 120 dumbbell exercises (yes this one's also in the 4 sets of 30 each). Most of the times, I try to go to the gym and do this exercise but at times it rains so heavily that I have to do all this in my room itself. So here is one important point to note that you have to make up your mind to perform your daily exercise routine whatever conditions come in your way. I have been practicing this for the last 6 months and I am getting praise from my friends for being fit at all times. It is important to train your mind to perform the morning exercise since every #ChhoteKadam counts. So I believe that these small steps are helping me to keep my heart healthy and all I have to do is to perform above mentioned exercise for staying active at all the times.

All of us are eagerly waiting for the festival of lights - "Diwali 2016" and for the movie: Aye dil hain mushkil.

The festival of lights is celebrated every year in India and we all love to spread happiness by distributing sweets and by blasting crackers. The important thing is that we all like to spend time with our family members rather than spending it with our friends. But the youth today is so enthusiastic that they never go out of friends. The festival of lights is such that both we celebrate it with our family or with friends and at times both the objectives are achieved in real time or by means of social media. Sometimes we get our friends help to decorate our house during diwali festival and it really light up the entire house with sheer happiness and joy. 

At times, the diwali festival becomes boring for some people who don't get the chance to meet their family, friends due to work commitments or due to the distances they have ventured so far. In such times, it is the entertainment department which comes into focus and yes, you guessed it right. It is our Bollywood department which entertains us throughout the year by releasing most number of movies. Well the big banner movies are purposely released during the festival time and it is a great way to entertain both types of people who are enjoying the fest with their family members and the ones who are not together due to some conditions like job, distance, etc.

"Kayaking for a cause" will definitely help in spreading awareness about keeping the rivers clean.

“I am participating in the Chaliyar River Challenge activity at AdventureN in association with Jellyfish Watersports”

Kayaking is a sport in which an individual has to travel by means of water. A kayak (means a narrow boat) and a double-blade paddle is needed so as to travel from one point to another in water. Kayaking is an adventure sport and it is necessary that the person willing to do so has to have a strong determination to complete the challenge all by himself/herself. The citizens of any city will always be dependent on a water source that flows through the city and till now that are the only thing that connects people with the water resource that is available within the city. Now a day there is a need of water in almost every type of industries and it is obvious that we the human beings pollute our rivers in every possible way. So it is the only way by which we are connected with the river flowing through our city. Another thing for which we are selfishly connected with the river is that we need water for our house hold purpose and for keeping ourselves alive. But we also have many traditional rituals in India for which we need to pollute our rivers. For example, the Ganesh festival is the one in which we need to immerse the Idol of lord Ganesha into the river and while doing this many of us know that we will be polluting the river but for tradition it is necessary to do so.  

Well now it is important for every individual to think over the traditions that we need to follow and think about how we will not pollute the river water. Another means of polluting the river is our Industrialization. Due to industrialization, a lot of river water is being used up for processing purpose and the polluted water is again directed or mixed again in the river. Now it is the human nature to make the use of resources in as selfish manner as possible and that is why it's only the Chaliyar River Challenge that will have an impact in the way by which we are connected with the river.

As the kayaking sport needs an individual to cross the water ways be it river or a sea we will always be thinking that it is the activity by which we experience an adventure. So it is obvious that we will think of how we can make the best use of it and that too without harming the river water.  Now if an individual kayak's through any river or sea then a situation will always arrive when we need to approach the land surface and that is the point where we will be coming across the debris or polluted components alongside the banks of river or sea.Watch the video below: 

In this way, if an individual is associated with a water sport activity that would be conducted in the river of sea coast, people would be actually experiencing the connection with water source existing within the city. Now days, the social media presence of any individual also puts and impact on another person in the society (not completely but it really does for some) and it helps them to at least think on how we can contribute to keep our river clean.   

Therefore, it is important for every individual to connect with the water resource available in the city and challenge themselves to kayak down the river or sea not only for adventure purpose but also for connecting with the mission to keep them clean and safe for the future generations to come.  At last, we can come to the conclusion that unless we take the initiative no one will ever try to think in that direction. So it is we the people and our actions that are to be conducted in such a way that we inspire people by doing the adventurous things and sticking to the objective of keeping the rivers safe and clean. So it is time to challenge ourselves to kayak through the rivers or sea coast that exists in the vicinity of our cities. Chaliyar river challenge is one such adventure for which we need to challenge ourselves and be a part of this great mission that will definitely help to keep our rivers clean.

I follow simple ways to convert my good mornings into gold mornings.

Well the morning time is the one when we all can certainly try our best to keep things simple. I have a habit of waking up on time (sometimes its plus minus 20-30 minutes), even when I had slept late at night. My opinion is that we should always try to wake up as early as possible in the morning. The only reason is that if we fail to wake up early and begin our day very late then every task will certainly get delayed which is not a good thing. Sometimes we may also be the reason for keeping someone to wait knowingly or unknowingly. Therefore, it is always important to start our day as early as possible.

After we wake up early in the morning, it is also important to help in completing daily chores of the home in which we live. Well these are very simple things few of them are tea preparation and a little bit of house cleaning. Believe me; doing some simple household chores will definitely help us to turn the good mornings into gold mornings. Well, these are the only things which I find simple to do.
